Every one of my old senegalus came up to the surface to feed when they were at least 3" long....Meaning almost instantly, of after a bit of growing. And they also did root around for food often and fairly accuratly on the bottom. I think senegalus could work:)

Very fast. My experience was a bit more than 1cm a week, quite fast. I may be wrong though, so long ago....But it did rival the growth rate of my old Boulngerochromis microlepis, which was 1.2cm per week!

I don't know about green terrors....Lots of conflicting info....But I think Red Terrors are definantly aggresive :lol: Gee....I want a green terror now...LOL
