I have 3jack demps, and 4cons in a 75gal tank. The cons are having fry, how many of them can i keep?

it's a 75 gal. and my two largest cons just laid eggs do you know how many i can keep. i have 4cons, and 3jack demps in there now.

i named this one after lance armstrong because of his yellow complection.

here's my largest con "Bully", the eggs are in the scull, and nobody but mom comes close.

These are my babies room. My largest cons are currently taking care of eggs. In a 75 gal tank how many fry can I keep? I have 3 jack demps and 4 cons in there now. Closer pics of fish comming tomorrow.

Does anyone know how to tell the differance between male and female jack demps.

i am starting over with my tank and i want to go with sand. my lps told me that i needed a sand they carried that wouldn't rase my ph level. this sand is $20 a bag and i have a 75 gal tank. could i use play sand? and how long should i wait before putting any fish in my tank.

thanks for the advice i forgot to mention that the tank was 75 gal. is it any more difficult to manage a tank with sand than it is with gravel.

I'm not sure what you mean by sterilize the water. but about 3 days before I put the cons in the tank I did a complete water change, and my pleco is looking better. I am currently using Maracyn buy mardel, does these meds tend to make the water cloudy, because an hour after i put it in my tank...

I just put some meds in my tank (Maracyn by Mardel). An hour or two went buy and my water is very cloudy is this normal.
