I added some salt to my fish tank last night to help me fight agianst ick. I'm treating a 10gal hospitol tank. I have 10 cichlids, and a Pleco in it. How often should I add salt to my water?

Thanks, I never heard of a gas problem with sand. I have had the sand in for about a month now, and I haven't had any trouble. The only thing I heard about the sand was that it keeps the ph pretty high. So I bought jack demps and cons, they don't mind ph levels around 7.9. But since you told me...
