Thanks for the info, Its very strange as its only had the gravel in for about a month now as its a new setup. Had it running for alot longer without gravel in. I only put one tablet in a week which all gets eaten fairly quick by the shrimp so i would not know why the gravel would have excess...

These are great very healthy shrimp, highly recommend

I can tell when they are first hatched what coulor they will be. If you look closly they have a spotty colour apperance. I would say another week or so and you will really be able to see the colour. Steph

Lol, I know how you feel. They do add a lovley bit of colour to the tank. Grow quite large too so they really stand out.

I have got spixi apples, purple, blue and ivory apple snails. All about 1/2 cm to 1 1/2 cm. I also have 3 clutches which would be a mixture of pink, purple, ivory and blue PM me if interested Steph

The second one looks alot better with the lighting, i can see what you mean. I only went for these lights as i only have a 40 cm tank and needed better lighting for the plants Steph

Hiya, I have a twin interpet compact light unit. The only problem is i dont know how i can attach it to the hood as it is plastic. Is there any way of glueing reflectors? Do you have any ohter ideas? Many thanks Steph
