Have you thought of the dwarf cichlids like Apistos and rams etc? I love both me I like the red parrot too but the money you pay for them is shocking I like the yellow convicts they look fantastic :)

Seeing as you are going to have to use the cedar instead of the stone could you not work it so that is your pull down, if you have to use it, it may as well have a purpose?

Mmmm your petco I believe is the same as our pets at home and somewhere you would rather avoid buying your fish from, what cichlids have you been looking at?

Surprising how they pick up on things just make sure you try and stick to your routine especially if they are used to it like that Did you manage to snap me a pic after you took them out?? Are the fry eating the Discus food alright?

Awww soooo cute congrats If you do decide to move them I would try to not net them but use a jug/mug/beaker of some sort so they are not out of the water, I'm not sure how fry cope being netted?? But they are lovely and so tiny still I will see if I can get you a pic of my 1 but he stays mostly...
