Not sure about the XP3, but my XP2 has been running for 5 years nonstop now! Never had any problems or never had to replace anything(apart from media lol), absolutely bombproof.

I keep a Gold Gourami with 9 black widow tetras in a 50 Gal, The gourami seems to enjoy trying to shoal with the tetras! Sticks out a bit though.

I just checked, It is indeed an API test kit. Looked at the nitrate bottles one was 03/04 and the other 03/03 :crazy: Most probably explains the duff readings! Looks like i will be investing in another kit, any recommendations for freshwater?
