    I think it's a great idea! I would guess you could keep around ten in that size aquarium with a good shoal of Cardinal Tetras if they'll be safe.

    You could put your Cardinal Tetras in the other aquarium. The clean up crews are fine although I have read that Chinese Algae Eaters can become aggressive.

    Have you ever used copper in the aquarium? If so, the shrimp aren't suitable.

    You could get some more Harlequin Rasboras. I wouldn't get the Clown Loaches because they are a shoaling fish so two isn't ideal and they will also grow too large for your aquarium.

    A good substrate is ADA Aqua Soil. I would go for at least 1.5WPG. You could also dose Seachem Flourish Excel and Tropica Plant Nutrition to increase plant health.

    I wouldn't get the Clown Loaches because three isn't a large enough shoal and they will grow too large for your aquarium.
