My boyfriend has one in his Fluval Roma 125l replacing his old Fluval 3+ He thinks it's excellent as it's so much easier to rinse out the sponges with how the top lifts up so there's no need to remove the whole filter from the bracket :good: Also the 3 different flow outputs is a nice touch...

My Yorkie has a "slight" murmur too (she is 15yrs old). Chelsea does cough every so often and i give her a tablet every day for the murmur, she is fine, doesn't bother her. Have you been given medication?

I have the Arcadia Arc tank 35L and also have the Aqua Start 320. Out of the two I definately prefer the Arcadia Arc, it is so much easier to scape and IMO looks so much nicer :good:

If it was me, i would want a complete new tank, not a Fluval Edge, sounds like its just not meant to be. Take it back, exchange for new tank (take the media out of the fluval edge filter to put in your new one, if that makes sense.

Thanks, no Ad-andrews was not an inspiration (I love his tank by the way, its amazing!), this type of scape is becoming very popular, i got my inspiration from google images, looking at ad-andrews tank, we do have very similar taste :fun: see here for example...

You could try different coloured card from a craft place (Hobbycraft etc) That way if you don't like the colour you could just replace it with a different colour :D That's what my boyfriend has on his Fluval 125L, currently black but he's thinking of changing to blue 8-) Once it's painted...

I decided it was time for a change, changed the substrate to a little darker and removed the wood, added some rocks :) Here it is.....what do you think?

I have used sand, this shows the colours up, have just changed to a small gravel, looks lovely too :) Larger gravel tends to make the tank look small IMO. :good:
