    I need options! NOW!

Can you post a picture of the current setup? Sometimes you can raise the divider a little if your substrate is deep enough, add plants along the side of the divider to limit his view of the other side/ make it more difficult to jump. Other people might have some better/other options though if...

She would fit in my 40 but I’d have to move my fish to the tank in her room. Rofl!

My fish are easier than my toddler for sure. My toddler just turned four and I’d say we’ve hit the “no, I don’t want to” to everything phase. Ha ha. Takes forever getting her out of the house in the morning, she doesn’t like any clothes I pick out for her, shoes, brushing her teeth, having a...

How much gravel for 20 gallons?l

If you go by the two inch rule I based my calculations on the bottom area of his tank floor. If raingamma only wants an inch depth coverage over area of tank floor he would only need 18 lbs.

How much gravel for 20 gallons?l

About 36 lbs for two inches thick or 18 lbs for one inch. I assumed 30.3 was length of tank and 12.3 was the width. Still be about the same if the width was 12.5, but I assumed 12.5 was the height.

    Dream Fish / Dream Tank

125 gallon and honestly already love the fish I have so probably just add some more Emerald Cory to the existing group and let my fish do their thing. My BN would have a significant digging area increase. Ha ha! On a side note, that’s something I’ve asked my husband for Christmas (he didn’t say...

Cleaning your sand in planted tank

I rake with my hand or the handle end of my net to release any gas bubbles from decomposing matter that could build up and become hazardous and I also siphon with my python over the top to pick up uneaten food and waste during my water changes. Just don’t plunge if you siphon with a python bc it...

Are plecos worth the bio load?

Also something to consider... pleco’s can live to be 20 years old. For some that may be too long of a commitment. I personally love BN pleco’s and bend backwards for mine. I moved him across country to keep him with me when I moved he had an aerator, heater, etc hooked up in my vehicle, drove...

A bunch of questions I want to know for my new Betta tank

I have successfully kept male Betta’s in community tanks in the past. I’ve kept them with Bristlenose, Molly (avoid swordtail and Lyretail or super colorful ones), Zebra Danio’s, and Rasbora’s. Just make sure you don’t overstock and provide lots of hiding spots. Also, make sure you establish...
