Cool. I borrowed my wife's .243 to hunt antelope this year. It's a really fun caliber to shoot--powerful enough to do the job but doesn't beat your shoulder up as bad as a .270.

You've never seen my kindergarten classes, obviously. (except when you were an actual kindergartener, of course, but kinders as a whole are pretty oblivious) And I'm herding them AWAY from the cliff.

Good luck with it! Being a bowyer is no easy task, from what I have heard. And yeah, also a (39#) longbow guy; one of the few barebow users at my club. Can always appreciate a nice looking longbow!
