    sometimes, easiest way to find out is to google ..really good way to start out as a fish beginner ..or ask me anytime lol,...so vacum pumps is to clean the debries and stuff in between the gravels..you put the vacump cylinder part into the water and hook the hose from end of cyclinder to the bucket, then when you let the cylinder ( vacumm head ) inside of water and make sure no air is in there, then you can either suck the other end of hose just to make the water come out, but do quick n remo...
