Getting The Missus Interested In Fishies...

We went to Loro Parque in Tenerife, and i made her go in the aquarium place there.. Shes turning you know, getting her more interested in them.

There a huge neon tetra cylinder tank with thousands of them in it, and 2 clown loaches.. lol... nice little place.. only small but nice.. (apart from the big shark bit)

But.. theres a problem.. she likes the sea horses...

Now... ive only just learnt about ammonia, nitrites and all that malarchy, so i think she gonna have to wait a while

Still, she doesnt take a bad photo for now...

Ahhh but she's probably just humouring you

no just kidding, my bf is coming round a bit too and now and again surprises me with bits of information I've relayed to him - but I always thought "goes in one ear and out the other" - he nods, "uhms and ahh's" but I'm never sure what he's really thinking when I speak fish

btw. marine tanks also have ammonia, nitrites and all that malarkey - the major difference is money ! and probably more time - lots more.

i have exactly the same problem as you mate, funnily enough we went to an aquarium in spain and she wants seahorses. what is it about seahorses, oh well at least she showed an interest.

my dearest referred to my loaches as Yo Yo's last night. i almost fell off my chair, she listened to me when i told her what they were.

normally i get comments like whats the orange one doing or look at the sucker thing blah blah...

were slowly getting there, very very slowly....
