New Additions To The Betta Family

Both arrived this weekend, the delta girl is from Synirr (well, technically he's from another breeder from the betta show) and the double tail is from a LFS in San Francisco, I think he's plakat but I'm not entirely sure.

Delta girl, the pictures don't really do her justice... she's really really cute :wub:

Here's the doubletail (as you can probably tell) I think he enjoys the camera, I've never had an easier time getting a good shot, I usually have to take a ton before I get a decent one. He was different from all the others, I love his pink, white, and grey coloring. We had a rough beginning ( he was starved and weak from the LFS) but now he's doing great :wub: And only four dollars!

He's pretty but his plants are not, they got a little dried out on the ride from my parents house to university.

Thanks, I'm not sure that they're plakats though. :dunno: The female is delta and the male, possibly double tail plakat but I don't really know. I'm still learning!
 
Those fish are gorgeous. Where did you say you live again? I promise I don't have any intentions of breaking in and stealing them.

You're not allowed any more bettas anyway!!! :p I'm not scared of you 'cuz I know you don't have room for them :lol:

HAHAHAHA. I would never do that. :shifty: ... Esepcially if I live 45mins away from Nino... That sort of thing would never happen :rolleyes: ...

Thanks Synirr, I love him though my dad thought a red DT would be prettier :rolleyes: I've now got 6 bettas and although my dorm room is full I don't think I'm done, they are such great fish :wub:

double tail gene is expressed over what ever the base tail type is sooo,, you could have a dt vt, a dt pk, a dt hm even my sis newfishey has one of those he is gorgeous. so ur guy is a dt pk, double tail placket, and a very nice one as well.
