Here's a picture of my imbellis boys. They rarely pose together, so I though I'd take a picture.
I wonder if I should get a woman? Perhaps I will mull it over while home for Thanksgiving, working on my tan as I lay in my swimming pool, sipping a margarita. I'm a stinker.
They are in my 15g planted tank, I have a thread in the Planted section if you want to see how it's changed (shameless, I know, but if you can peddle...). Go see, it pretty! They share a home with harlequins, bridget rasboras, and pygmy cories. It's really a wonderful community tank. They are a much better community fish than the betta splendens. Though splendens have always worked well with the above fish, I just can't keep more than one male splendens. Hmmmm. Wild-caught imbellis. Very tempting, very tempting. A few pairs would be awesome for a 20g high I have sitting in Miami, gathering dust, but I don't think my family really want to take care of any fish after what happened to my goldfish in Katrina. I will work on them while I tan and sip margaritas.
