this is the water being drawn from the surface draining down the 11/2" pipe.

this is where the pipe screws on to the threaded connector and i forgot to mension , you will need filter boxes building round the pipes to stop fish being sucked in these are simple glass boxes round the pipe with a filter comb on top.

I'm going to opt for 2 X eheim wet/dry thermo filters.


once i find the right tank and base - it is harder then I had expected.
