hey all
i was woundering what the ut come of a spawn ive got will be the male is plakat with dt geno he has been proven for that and i spawned him with his sister would she also be carrying the DT geno? if so does that mean i will probley get dome DT fry?

the fry are a week old

i think you should expect about 25% DT if both parents are carriers of the gene! i'm sure synir will find this and correct me if i'm wrong!! (she is the genetics expert.. )

im no genetic expert like synirr but I THINK newfishes is right...youll probably get 25% DT and I think 50% will be DT carriers...??

Yep, newfishies and Lady are right. If the sister is a carrier you'll get about 25% DT, but if she's not you won't get any... I guess you'll be finding out soon!

just been and looked at the fry and i do indeed have doubletails in with them also single tails. happy days

omg i didnt tell ya hehehee i can indeed keep my bettas and breed but stay at a limmet (havent been given one tho lol) but im only doing one spawn at a time, ive sold most and got rid of the dragon cross just a few females and a couple males left of them.
i will try and get some pics but my camera isnt good with small things

EDIT: ok here are 2 pics best i could get
