Wild Kribensis. Had a pair of breeding wild kribs until last week. They have bred regularly with no real aggression between each other and she killed him the other day after he'd spent a week guarding the cave with her and the babies in.

Gutted.

That sucks and I feel for you.

Krib pairs can be abit temperamental - My breeding pair got on perfectly until the female suddenly turned on the male for no apparent reason. Luckily I was able to isolate the male for a while and when he was returned to the female they promptly spawned again. However, a while later the male turned on the female who I had to move to another tank.

My tank was pretty small (24") I think pairs would be better behaved if given more space.
