So unfortunatly I have some bad news...which I hate to bring to the board... -_- Just recently I purchased a really nice CT pair of Aquabid...it is one of my post somewhere on here...they were orange and blue...so beautiful...well I had just gotten them thurs. and I was so excited because they looked even better then the pictures! Well recently I had to make an emergency trip to my parents house because my grandma had a stroke...and so they needed me home to help keep an eye on her while they worked...so I left the task to my boyfriend to take care of them...which I know he definetly can handle...well tonight I got a very upseting call from the boyfriend telling me that he doesnt know how they baby girl did it but she fit out of the tiny breather whole on the top of her tank she was in and when he came in to check on everyone and feed them he saw an empty tank and paniced to find her on the ground... :( :-( He said he tried everything put her in some tank water from my 20gal and he said it looked like she took her last breath before she passed on.... :byebye: So just a memorial page for my girl...I guess i just feel responsible since im not there... :/

Heres a picture of the pair :(

That's terrible news for you. I really must be more careful with gaps in the covers. She's really a beauty too.

How is your grandmother?

Oh Lady, that's awful to hear. :( I'm really sorry. :rip: new girl. She was a sweetie, and it sounds like your bf did all he could.

jollysue - she is doing a lot better actually seemed to have perked up the last couple days...they are keeping her for tests now but they think shell be able to recover almost completely so well see in the next couple days...thanks for your concern :)

Splish - haha yes he definetly tried...I almost felt worse for him then anything...he felt horrible...he kept asking me to come home because he didnt want them to keep dying on his watch now hes all worried...he really did try :p poor guy

Aaah well at least he is supportive! More than I can say for family... they squirm when I cup Jerry in my hands and move him for water changes. You're very lucky your bf is willing to pick up a fish.

hahaha well he claims hes not interested in fish at all...yet ive watched his eyes wander from fish to fish ocassionaly haha or he will bring them up at random sometimes...and believe it or not he asked me to pick a fish out for his moms birthday this month haha so I THINK he secretly likes them haha

Hehe... his 'dirty little secret'. :p

My guy friends always ask me why I have to like 'wussy' fish.

The only reason they don't mind my betta is because I told him that they kill most other fish. When I excitedly say I'm getting a 55g and stocking it with rainbows and cichlids, they immediately say. 'Rainbows sound like pansy fish.'

awww poor dude, and fish, and fish mommy. :(

That sucks so bad...atleast he tried..and he felt bad.
(I bet you're right..he secretly likes those fish..I know all the guys here at work like mine..they always sneak in to look then try to look like they weren't looking when I come back in lol)
