Well here are the pictures of the baby fish I have now...

This is a photo of the 1st one, who is thinner than the other.

Here he/she is again- note I snapped an adult neon in shot for scale- I'm estimating them at between 3-4 months old but if anyone knows different I'd be interested to hear.

See the colour change? The fish will show this darker pattern when they are feeding or seeing eachother at times.

Here is the other fish- this is his/her threat posture.
When the two disagree they erect dorsal fin, tip head down and sort of drift AT each other.

Here are two pics of a female I used to own, the first is her under stress, note the incredible mottling! Never saw that in my males- second is her swimming not under stress.

Going on my paranoral ability to sex fish from just looking at them i would say two females (its worked on more than a few occasions for me when choosing "unsexable" fish) but i'm no Cichlid expert so really i havent got a clue.

The second fish is a female nannacara and the other looks to be a female apistogramma or young male nannacara who hasn't gotten his coloration yet
