Very cute - even though the first two are quite worrying :S
Who would give a kitten ad-lib hard food ? :/
Who would let a cat get that obese ? :/

They are so cute I like the fat cat. Believe it or not my cats is that fat. I will take some pictures to show you all soon..

And I thought my cat was fat ????

bloozoo~I have no explanation why Chevy is as fat as she is. She is given the same amount of food daily as my other 2 cats, and neither one of them are fat.

My mom has another one of my cats, Bear. Same thing with her. We always had one or two other cats and Bear. Neither Hay-U(her mom) or Pepper, my one eyed wonder were even remotely obese. But Bear on the other had weighs like 13 pounds.

That's ok fish ! 13 pounds is certainly the upper end of the scale (for the average sized) cat so no worries there :) I didn't actually think Chevy what obese - just more cuddly than most

But that funny cat pic above looks more than 15 pounds to me and that's not so good  unless it's just the angles :dunno:

there are some kitten foods sold in the US that are semi-moist and shaped somewhat like that... the darkness of the food in the pic may just be a trick of the light. :dunno:

it also doesn't look like the kitten in the first picture is actually eating--looks more like somebody played too hard

Looks a lot like the semi-moist food we used to have for our kittens.

My fiance and I have a kitten only slightly bigger than that, and she's been on hard food since she was about 2 months old. (She's about 3.5 months now.) It's kitten food, so it's a lot smaller than regular hard food, but it's still hard.

My cat Bear is 13 pounds, Chevy is actually 17-18 pounds. She is most definately obese, though not as fat as that cat. That cat looks like it is at least 20 pounds. I have seen a cat that big, and it was because it was overfed, and fed a lot of people food that wasn't good for them.

Bear is a small cat in size, but in weight she is big. She is quite funny to watch when she runs because her legs are so short that her belly almost rubs the ground as it sways side to side.

Chevy on the other hand is quite solid in her "roundness". There is hardly any sway at all when she runs :D .

I've got some funny animal pics saved...thought I'd share them as well.
