well my fry are now 3 weeks old and i thought they looked big enough and stronge enough for a water change its went great and i fed some bbs 20mins after i done it and they are all eating fine. i always hate the first water change.

i know some people will be thinking hmmm i thought she was ment to have stoped keeping and breeding bettas well i have but i dont have the heart to kull these i started there life so now i will finish it untill they find good homes.

i will try and get some pics later but im not sure if my camera will pic them up but ill go and try

It's good that you didn't cull these.....I can have more now!!! hehe!!
It's a very responsible attitude...u started their lives....etc.

P.S. Tinkerbell and Titania have stopped sizing each other up now!!

here are 2 pics of some fry, can the pro's here let me know if they are the right size for there age they are 3 weeks old. nice bellys full of bbs lol :p

Adorable

Out of curiosity, what size tanks do you breed in? I love my five gallons for spawning, they're so perfect and sentimental because all of my spawns have been born in them, but I'm thinking of upgrading. I have to start wc's on the fry at just a few days old and I agree that they are stressful (on us!). I feel like a clumsy bafoon everyday when I do a change

awww bless im scared of doing them i always think im going to kill them its a 1ft18 long 1ft wide 1ft high tank not sure on how many gals, but its so easy to do water changes and when im happy i upgrade them to a 2ft tank

:p
thanks very much cant wait for them to get some colour thats the best part waiting for there colours and see what combo's i will get

Clover any plans on selling them when they are alot older? Im near birmingham and was wondering if you would ship. Also What are there parents? I have a 4 gallon tank sitting under the bed which is crying out to house a male. Would be heated and filtered. I know its a good few months aways before you can even consider finding them new homes but i just thought the early bird always get s the worm :p Looking lovely btw

thanks very much
