Lets begin
This was the temporary set up after my tank cracked, the mom and dad jewel chilid along with their babies were in the smaller bucket while the other fish were in the blue tub

how big was the tank that cracked? did it leak everywhere or explode? or were u just being safe instead of sorry?

ive kept fish in rubbermaid containers temporarily before too.. they work pretty well and are cheap!

the new tank looks good too.. im a fan of livinstone cichlids :D

o my tank was just leaking slowly and i noticed it for a while but tough nothing of it until it start leaking over the blakc covering. But it worked out because i ended up upgrading to a 37 for a 29. Therefore more fish can enter the tank.

Fish in tank

Ph- justed checked 7.1

10 assorted baby chiclids
1 Green Severum (holding for a friends with caution i add)
1 bristlenose
1 clown pleco
1 catfish (cant remeber the name)
1 Krib

Tank has been working for almost a month with everything above in it. It is strange because there was is no agression between the fish, except when the Jewel's had babies, they swim around together. The only aggresive fish is the cat that sometimes will chase around the other chiclids

Is that a kirib I see, ande maybe a sev or a convict in one of the pics? Or are they all mbuna?

no as you can see above there is a servrum and i left out the one krib

Any Comments?

ok, I will comment on keping MBuna with those.

1. Water Conditions- The Mbuna need a completly diffrent water type then those fish, ie th PH Gh Kh, and all that good stuff

2. Aggression- The Sev and Krib are fairly peacefull while the Mbuna are not.

I suggest getting rid of the krib and sev

I will remove both when their are any signs of agression toward them. I Promise

Im glad! You didnt say anything rude back, and you took my advice! Good for you, you seem like you will be a good caring fish owner, unlike someother people.
