ID & info needed

Well having left my plants to get up to there own stuff and, not prunnig them or, getting rid of the mass of floating plants ) . I found this plant loving growing its self out of the water.

This pic shows the plant as its was when I bought it. Black ring around it.

After taking the plant out and, holding it up right to my body it comes ( well it did untill I pruned it ) up to my chin ( OMG ). I'm a little 5' 6".

This pic shows its changing from floppy water plant to a very stern stem and leaves.

You can cut it right down and replant the cut offs.

As to replanting the off cuts i've been doing it for months now just ) couldn't bothered for the past 2 months to trim my plants and it started going outta the water.

Its milfoil, cabomba has much more thicker leaves.
