what is she?

hi all
here is the new female i was talking about, would like to know what tail type she is and what colour is she mustard gass or blue chocolate?
she is healing her fins right now when i baught her and 3 others they were all torn up.
any help would be great thanks

Well...once in my lfs they haed some males and females like yours and they called them clowntails which im not sure about lol..as for colour I think its chocolate

It is very hard to tell exact tale type on a female. She isn't a crowntail, double tail, or halfmoon. Because of the shorter tail length in females (and therefore lack of "droop" all around), it is difficult to tell girls that are deltas and superdeltas genetically from veil tails. If you got her from a pet store, she is almost definitely a veil tail. It is possible to get other tail types at a lfs, but rare. If your lfs gets their bettas from a local breeder, it is more likely, but still not incredibly likely.

What happened to her? Poor little thing, it looks like someone took a bite out of her tail. Ouch! I hope she heals up soon,

yeah there were to many females in a tank so they are all pretty torn up.
the only thing that makes me say she isnt a veiltail is because she is a 6 ray female and i dont think female veiltails can have this many.
she also has very short ventrals.

I have one just like her that I am debating if she is a plakat, or a veil tail. I thought veil b/c I bought her @ walmart, but when I looked at the double rays in her tail, I got to thinking maybe she's not a veil after all...

But deff one of the two.
