I thought it would be neat to see everyone else's electrical cords coming from their tanks... because I know mine are such a mess! (It takes at least 5min to sort through them when it comes time for water changes in the small tanks! :X)

Here are the cords coming from 5 of my tanks (three 2.5g's, one 2g, and one 10g)...

Sorry, no pics, but i thought id just mention placing a tag or a sticker on the cords makes them alot easier to identify, maybe even coloured cable ties.

I use stickers, the pain ones, and write on them say "Heater" or "filter" etc etc. :)

One tank. I have 20 in the fishroom, and thats too much work. This is one from upstairs.

:hyper: That is a brilliant idea! Now, if only I can find time to sit down and make labels for 5,000 cords... Jk... seriously, I'm going to try that. Thanx for the advice!

I wonder if you could put round colored beads for each cord. That way it would drip from the bead if there were water running down the cord and you could tell which cord is which. Drip loops aren't the most reliable things IMHO. I don't trust them atleast.
