In my attempt to squeeze out the most out of my 17 watt light, I added reflectors using alunimum wrappings.

Here is the tank before the reflectors were added on.

And here's after the reflectors were added on.

You can see the difference if you look at the gravel. It is much more brighter than before.

Thanks, I will check it out. Do you think I can get Mylar at arts and craft stores like Michaels?

You should not use alumimium as it only reflects about 40% of the light back into your aquarium. I know you can see a difference but if you want to see even more of a difference for £2.50 then use Mylar, it's 97% reflective and is used in the space industry, you can find some here

Thanks for that tip - however if I was to buy 1 meter of Mylar @ £2.50, they would charge £5.95 postage wtih a total cost of £8.45 for just one meter -_-

Is there anywhere else in the UK this can be bought - at a shop perhaps ??
