Dwarf Gourami w/ white poo

Or just do a water change and run some black carbon to remove the meds,so he has white spotty patches on his scales, in his tank did you notice any excessive slime build up, add some salt to his tank, and a salt bath.

I would recommend doing a 100% water change and starting him on something for bacterial infections... because it sounds like he has one. (Maybe along with a secondary fungal infection that is taking advantage of his weakness.) Maracyn I and II work really well for this, especially when used together.

I've added salt already, and I did not notice any slime. The spots are all very small, and cream colored. I've noticed that they are only in the blue area of the stripes... the red area is still there. What is the difference bt a salt bath and adding salt?
I've tried giving him green peas... he still won't eat.
Here's a closer picture. The white line is just something that was on the water, not him.
Sorry it's so fuzzy... my camera doesn't do good upclose.
Edit: This spot is just below his top fin. He has few smaller ones on his body, none on his head or fins.

Well, since this is a fairly new fish, I'm taking it back to the lfs. They are going to replace him for me. It may seem mean to do that rather than spend $10-20 on meds, but I can only do what I can do.
Anyway, thank you to all who offered help! I appreciate it, and I'm sure the fish does too. Hopefully the lfs can save him.
Thanks again!
