The book is "Guppies, Mollies and Platys: A Complete Owner's Manual" by Harro Hieronimus and published by Barron's.

I've never seen guppies like that one myself. Beautiful! I wish I can find that for my collection.

I found some similar guppies at deltaguppies.com. But I am concerned about ordering by mail.

My husband and I have ordered fish and had them shipped. We have never had any arrive dead or injured. It's pretty safe, as long as it's done right.

Sure, they don't die, but overnight shipping is crazy expensive! I don't really like to pay $30 dollars for a $5 fish just on shipping. I've never seen a guppy up close. It's one of the most popular fish, you think I would've seen one by now.

I bought this guppy. It's body has blue, orange and yellow dots. But he would not stand still for a good picture.

This other one has yellow dots on his body and has some nice blue color. He was not willing to have his picture taken either.

those guppys at top what every one wants I HAVE 6
got them from world of water in uk they called them
blue talled guppys .
see if i can get a pid

Yeah those are the ones i saw at 'pets at home'. But as u say your in the US...

didn't cost me that much 5 fish for £9.00 thats about $17
don't think there that rare the lfs had loads in stock, sadly all gone now.

Now that I think about it, Those look like my feeder guppies that got with my Real Guppies... Why so expensive? No, I'm not kidding ; same colors and everything.
