Hey there,
I couldn't figure how to post pix on the chit-chat board, so I'm doing it here. Anyway, these are before and after pictures of my tank. I recently changed over to sand, due mostly to this site. My cory cats love it! I think it looks much better, although it's still a little cloudy and I have a few more plants coming in to place.

On second thought: This should actually perhaps be in the "Member's Aquarium and Fish Pictures" section.
 
Hey it looks great!
I remember what a drama it was when my hubby switched his 40 gallon tank from rocks to sand! it took forever for the sand to settle, it was common play sand. we now go for prewashed white. much more pleasant on the eye and the cloudiness is near non existant! :p

EDIT: 40'? Meant 40 gallon!!! ooops
