Sick Discus

thanx simonbrown403..

now i put down a (fenbendazole, does it purple colour?)

and use a Methylene Blue again..

i change water with RO water, my tank water is tap water...

want to make all my tank from RO water mix it with 25% tap water

my water is not the problem,,, alwaays new discus have some diseases... but i choose my fishes carefully

Fenbendazole is a white powder, you can get it from a vets.

You say your water is fine, do you know the water peramiters of your discus suplyer? your PH is 7.5, your discus suplyers could be anywhere between PH 6.0 to 7.5?, this can carse PH shock/osmotic shock which will bring on the symptoms you describe.

It dos't matter how carefully you chose your fish, if you put them strait into the tank without placeing them in quarantine first, thay can introduse organisums into your tank that your discus ar not amune to,

Quarantine also serves as an aclimatization period, you should first find out the water peramiters of you discus suplyer and match them in your quarantine tank (before a purches is made), then you should gradulay alter the water peramiters ie PH, to that of your tank (PH 7.5) the PH should not be altered more than 0.5 a day).

The normal quarantine period is 4 to 6 weeks, where you should alter (water peramiters), observe closely (look for signs of illness) and treat if nessersery.

an antibiotic might be the best corse of action, something eSAh hemtrix.

Dont use more than one medications at a time unless it says you can on the packet, always remember to remove all traces with carbon, before treating with another, as these can build up and stress the fish.

my discus splyer PH is 7.0 and till me it's ok on 7.5

anyway am going to use RO PH 6.5

is it all your discus that are affected
yup all..

some have a few parasite.
all have a few cloudy eyes, not very cloudy.
all speed breathing

i see one of then have a white wast...

my suplyer give me today a blue methyline solution, and a purple capsule he says it's 3 in 1:

for 1.bacteria, 2.parasite, 3.deworm..

but he doesnt tell me what kind of this!! that's secret??

Its hard to tell from your pics, but neons do have a tendancy to swell when affected by internal bacteria.

treating with and anitbiotic is the best u can do for now, put an air stone in while treating.

Sounds like fenbenzanol mixed with an anitebiotic, i would't recomend useing the capsul and the methyline blue together, unless its a last resort.

See how it go's.

I have been through simalar things my self, and have learnt the hard way, and i would't be with out a quarantine tank, i recomend treating yourself to one.

good luck hope it go's well for you.

thanks man very well...

i will think about air stone,, anyway my filter make a oxi bubbles..

and i don't know what the capsule type,, it's purple colour... and he say

it's secret??? he doesnt tell me what kind of it..

If I read all the posts correctly it sounds as if your discus have 3 problems.
1 - Sounds like they have ick. I have had great success using Quick Cure for this problem.
2 - Sounds like they have Hex. White poo and not eating. There is a med called Hex-A- Mit which will help that problem.
3 - Dirty water. That is why there eyes cloud because of excess bacteria.

Try to keep your water conditions clean and stable.
