my 13 year old cat died tonight

im in shock,and absolutly devastated that my 13 year old cat died tonight,she wasn,t ill whatsoever she had no signs of illness,she came for her food from the living room at 7.45 and eat that then went and washed herself on the chair and lay down and went to sleep and when i went to wake her at 9 she was still in the same position dead,i just cant believe it im kinda glad she didn,t suffer but she was so lovable i dont know if i can get over this its hit me really hard .me and my dad as just buried her now,the vet thinks it was a massive heart attack..im sorry if im rambleing but i just had to share this with my friends here

thanks everyone im so glad im among friends i know she didn,t suffer but i just wanted her to open her eyes and hear her purr again........ :byebye:

I am so sorry about your cat . I had one to do the same thing only he was four years old. I just couldnt rest thinking what could of happen to my bed fellow. So I took to the vet and she sent him off to find out what happened to him and it was a heart attack. So I have 5 of his off springs that the same thing could happen to them any day.I do know what you are going through. Here is a picture of my baby

i know its hard at first i am always devestated when one of my pets dies but i just think at least they cant be in any more pain or suffering.it sound like she was really happy in her last few hours,you gave her a long and happy life and she must loved you for it :byebye:

im sorry for your cat,,the funny thing is ive lost pets before its always sad but this as hit me hard,maybe because i wasn,t expecting it,and she was a soft lady,she used to bring a item of clothing downstairs as a gift for us,i feel weird because as ive said ive lost dogs and cats before and its always hard but this came like a bolt of lightning from the blue i keep thinking what if i woke her up sooner,or what if would of noticed something,i guess the world is full of what ifs,well at least she isnt in any pain now,

Sorry no how you feel, bonnie my 19 years old cat went missing for a day and turned up then she went missing again a couple of days later never seen her since it's 5 weeks now, sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry about your loss. My long time cat passed away in January--she was 13 or 14 years old too. It was very difficult--she was always there for me when I was sad or upset. That was the longest I had ever had a pet so it was much more difficult than other pets I have lost over the years.

I lost one of my beauties in a road accident three years ago the shock of finding her was awful, but wha was worse was the fact that she had a litter of kittens at the time. fortunatly they all did well and I know have atwo week old litter of her grandchildren. It brings back the memories but she lives on in them.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but i'm so glad to hear she didn't suffer
