Is this not a true aquatic? It's different from the others in that it's very stiff, and looks like a fern to be honest.

This one I've had floating for 2 weeks but it doesn't seem to be doing anything:

The first picture is Nymphaea stellata, a form of water lily, the second is a red form of Hygrophila possibly Hygrophila rosanervis. Sorry I cant help you with the other two. As you say they are probably not true aquatics.
Hope this was of some help...

yes thanks that helps...at least I now have something to start looking on google with.

Cheers

Heres the front of the leaf...

I have a dwarf lily just like your first pic. the little floaty looks like the ones that get knocked off my little dwarf lily. I think they are the same.

Selafinelia Wildernowii is the name of the fern :D

I have one in my tank, tied to a piece of bog wood. The older leaves are thick with algea, but there is new growth from the stem and the old leaves.

Not sure on your other plants though. HTH

Hmm, is that in the water??

not in the photo it wasn't. I just have it floating. It doesn't have any roots or anything so I didn't know if I should plant it. I don't think its changed a bit since I got it.

Yep, I have a bulb just like yours, houndour.
Cool. Is yours growing _really_ slow? Mine is starting to take off now. When I first got it the leaves looked like they would die and fall off, but they seem to have come back to life and I have a 3rd leaf now :)

Great. I did a google on it. I think you made a typo: Selaginella Widenowii. That is the plant! Can't find any info though. Is it a true aquatic?
