Does anyone have a tank with fantasy objects, e.g. castles, bridges and other novelty (non-nature like) ornaments. Please post pictures.

Theres a book I bought (for some reason), it is very bad as some of the advice is gives is VERY wrong but it has some very weird tanks (glass ones, ones with those luminous hamster tubes and stuff. Its called Aquarium Design by a bloke called Matthew Christian, might give you some ideas but dont take any of its advice, for instance;

"Use 16 or 17 Red Tiger Oscars in a medium size tank" - WHAT THE ####!! :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Ravekiss,

did you take a look at the link I posted??

I think, even though its not "aquariumesque", it looks superb.

Completely different but well styled :nod:

Dunno if this counts or not, but meh.

I really dislike having miniature castles and... well, ornaments in general in my tanks, but I used these because my room's decorated with lots of tribal arrows and spears. It seems to fit, and also they're in realistic proportion as they're meant for use as gargoyle-type things (don't worry, they're okay to have in the tank; I checked).

Cephas, Holy crap, where did you get those things?!?!?! They're AWESOME!!! :hyper:

I wish I could set my tank up the way I want it, and I had a digital camera... One of these days I'll get the deco finished and then post a pic....

this the tank thebaldranger was talking about:

Yes I did look at the tanks on that link....I love the way the Castle in the Sky looks, especially with the moon on the background. Even looks a bit haunted!

Your tanks looks awesome...really unique and beautiful tanks.
