No, no, I like substrate, it is just that I want to find the right stuff. I am thinking of puting in pool filter sand or play sand.

Cool Tank,

And Do I see Threadfins In there, Welcome to the Threadfin Appreciation :D

That's quite an array of stuff in front of your tank. I shouldn't complain, right now there's 2 food containers, 2 test kits and a camera tripod in front of my tank.

Yea I know, that's why I removed all that stuff for the second more recent pic- looks better with the wine coloured table cloth not cluttered
:D

Looks good ;)

I've heard bad things about play sand , pool filter sand seems to be the trend .

Good to know. I have a pool so we do have lots of pool filter sand here.
but play sand is cheaper by far.

I like how easy it is to clean a tank with no substrate though

Yea I bet it must be a very easy clean :)

I like the tanks looks, a background would go along away..also I have not heard anything to bad about play sand so you may want to look deeper into your options before you buy/try anything...

Great fish and great tank !!

Is that you in the first pic ??
