Parent Raised angels

well...they did it, I disturbed them for a couple of minutes to get some pics(upset them too ) ....as you can see not the best quality, and the tank needs cleaning.....but I don't want to scare them into eating the fry...I have the sides of the tank covered all the time, this is about their 5-6th spawn....first time to cover tank....and first time they didn't eat the eggs!!

They have been swimmong for just a few hours.....when I tried to raise the eggs...the babies would always stay at the bottom of the tank...these guys are all over......the mid to top.....but haven't really explored the bottom yet...

oh...the little dots are the fry....

I am sooo proud of my parents!!

Thanks everyone....my favorite pic is the 4th one....being a mom of 6 it kinda looks to me like she is saying "now Jr.....come here.....I told you not to go that far away from me"

Dolphin, I treated with maracide and maracyn 2 (for 3 days) all I had....still haven't made it to the (not so local) LFS...but I put an order in to Bigalsonline...should be getting it anyday......but anyway, what I used seemed to take care of it,
the spot looks much better....still not completely healed, but getting there.....the female never had it.

He does however have a couple of small "ich" looking spots on his left fin now, but not sure.....I am keeping a close eye on it.....if I need to medicate for ich......will it hurt the babies??
I am leaving in 2 weeks, (I will be gone a week) and I want to leave the fry with the parents until I get back....I think they will have a better chance of survival that way.

I will try to take a pic of his fin later....

I just love the 4th picture. Is that the mother?? You really caught an "emotional" look and that is devistatingly hard to do with FISH!!!

I would be proud. We all wish to capture fish pictures like that and you did......I think I may Save that picture if you don't mind.....too good, just too darn good!!

that looks great....I was just trying to get a pic without them freaking too bad....I had no idea I would have captured such a neat moment, I am glad you enjoyed it I hope to take more in the future.
