recently my house has turned into a fry factory, i'm raising about 50 bristlenose fry, i've got some cockatoo fry and now it looks like my blue rams are about to spawn. she is getting pretty fat, so i'm guessing she's got eggs and they've been cleaning off a few leaves on the java fern, so i'm guessing that i've got more fry on the way...i'm running out of room for them all!

here is gretel (hansel and gretel...german blue rams...get it...yeah, i know, pretty corny). her belly's getting very pink and big!

That is one portly little female ;)

looks good , nice looking setup , like the plants .

thanks

yeah, she's always been a little round, not quite to balloon ram proportions, but rounder than the average. i've had this pair together for a while now (i think 3-5 months) and nothing had happened, so i figured they just didn't like each other...i guess i'll see what happens now

I've heard Rams are funny that way , it takes them a while to figure things out , and even the first couple of spawns can be botched , so I've heard , but this is true of a few other cichlids as well.

Good luck .

How many sparklers do you have in there , I like those guys too .

I had 4 , but they all ended up dieing :dunno: , they were small , and just week I guess .
