Just wondering when I will see the extended rays progress to give the classic crowntail look on my 8 week old juvies. They are already showing the rays extending but I was wondering when the boys will look like their dad  or shock horror will they not :-(

Here is one of the boys taken last week

The pics aren't as good as the first guy but they all have the spikey rays but I was just wondering when and if they will extend down to look like dad? The females already look like mum, but some have longer rays than others. Will mum's genetics cause them not to reach full crowntail as I'm not quite sure what she is :S

Thanks Yeevie, I'll try and be patient

<drums fingers on desk>

By the way, the guy at the top now has a deep pink body and his fins are redder which happened over the last week. These juvies are changing constantly :fun:

Mum is a Crowntail, so I would not worry about her genes messing anything up :D
