I bought 'The Rainbow Fish' book for my daughter when she was a little tyke (15 now). We read the story many times. The Rainbow Fish IS a lonely little fish, until he/she starts sharing those pretty scales with the other fish so they can be beautiful, too. It's a very eye-catching book. As you say, others have been published since then.

ok by my calculations this wont be up for consideration for winning the comp but i dont think it would have been in the running as its a not as good as the others but i figure it would be fun and might complete the set as i only did the tank of the month here is the fish of the month.

I've got an idea but cant be arsed to do it (and as you can see i'm not to artistic), but i'm sure one of you guys could have a go if you think its sounds good. You see jamnogs last one, what if you make a border that contains all the details (TOTM + date). Then within the frame, the winners tank photo can be put inside the "frame".
So this way things will be uniform, and we get to see the tank without any writing in the way.

well i hate to say it dg but he said we had 24 hours in the early hours of yesterday morning... or the late hours of the day before last night or something if you happen to live in a difucult to calculate timezone... think i said that wrong... anyways the comp was over thats why i didnt do a verry good one
