The 2 larger fish are laetacara curviceps , a pair M+f, they almost never leave each others sides .
I picked them out of a tank of at least a dozen , I told the lady I wanted the 2 that were guarding the filter intake  , I hope they don't breed in quarantine .

I forgot to put up a picture of Sonny before.

He's getting bigger , must just over 6" now , seems like every day he grows a good amount :dunno: , maybe I'm just tired

One of my sons favorite fish on loan to my dwarf community

His ventral fins were chewed in half by botia loaches .

The colors on your curviceps are amazing!

I always end up adding fish to my "wanted" list after seeing your pics. :sly: :p

How big is your bircher?

Does yours like to sit on floating plants?

BTW - Salvinis can jump too. :(

awsome pics Lucky

im really liking the curviceps too

DD

Comet , thanks very much , did your Salvini die :dunno: ? If so , I'm sorry , they are beautiful fish . All I new is they could fight and beat the crap out of my other fish :flex: :dunno: , At times wish they'd have jumped j/k.

The Bircher is about 5" now , he/she and another belong to Dwarfs .

Thank you also , DD .

The Curviceps aren't the most color dwarf cichlid , but are pretty laid back , and seem to , at times defy typical cichlid behavior, even when mating , they're easily bullied by other fish , but recognize their keeper , and will come out to investigate when you're around the tank , worth keeping IMO .

You have wonderful fish. I love the beautiful gudgeon and the pair of curviceps... and of course the cute little gourami :p

Thanks , :D

That gourami has been skipping from tank to tank here for about a year now , he's found a home  .
