My cat used to do that with my betta's bowl, then one day I came home to a wet desk and a missing betta....

But evil kitty still so cute!!

Cute photo!!

My ferret learned to open the top of my 10 gallon fry tank so he could drink out of it. Little pain in the butt! ;)

Aren't you afraid of your bettas jumping out of those bowls with the water so high & no lid on them??

Yeah... That picture was from a while ago... Agryphon jumped out... My cousin found her on the floor. :-(

I have a much better setup now.

I just thought the photo was so cute, though.

That is a SUPER cute picture!!!
I couldn't stand the dark quality though so I took it upon myself to lighten it. I hope you don't mind......

OOI Was there a betta in the big bowl too?

Cute cat though :) Why is it that whenever you give cats a nice bowl of clean water, theyd much rather have a mouthful of dirty puddle or flooded plantpot?

My cat does that, he drinks out of the snail tank......the pond.....the water feature....the toilet.....the washing up bowl.........the tap (drip drip).....used car washing water!.....puddels, he has a purrrrfectly good clean fresh bowl on the floor twice a day....strange cat :S

I don't mind the lighting change at all. I'm pretty terrible at photography. ;)
Middy's such a cute little cat. At the time the two gallon was empty.

:D I loffs my fishies!

i hope the new set-up includes bowls that are at least a gallon as opposed to those little things

My roommate is bringing her cat over for the week and I am SO paranoid for my little fishies. Luckily they are all in 5 gals, so unless the cat can move 40+lbs of water, I think I'm safe about not having any knocked to the floor. I will, however, me using packing tape to secure ALL of the hoods; I don't want her getting one open and eating my beloved little betta boys.

Cute cat, and I'm glad your learned from this kind of situations why bettas need more space and some kind of lid ;)
