nice collection of algae you have there :alien: are the brown piles on the glass poo? or just errm, crustations? :lol:

The brown stuff is what I call mulm , kind of a collection algae/plant litter and tiny critters you can't see or can barely see with the naked eye , it works for me , any way the fish pick at it for the first few days , cause I don't really feed too much the first few days , you wouldn't believe what they find to eat in there .

The fish are tiny the smaller ones are thomasis , a west African dwarf cichlid and are about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 " will get to about 2"to 2 1/2 ", the other fish are curviceps a new world dwarf that are about 2" now and will get to about 3" .

That fish does look like a homer...I had a GT named homer...he was just as dumb too :D
