New shock absorbvers x 4
New seatbelts
New chrome trim

Chromed handbrake and gear shifter
Rust cut out of body and replacement metal grafted in
New paintjob in Royal Sapphire Blue
Crack in heater channel welded up
New starter motor
Engine given full tune up
Brakes bled and given new pads
New ignition switch
New door lock on passenger side
New wheeltrims
Bumpers reconditioned
New door seals
New exhaust
New gearbox

All for under £2800, including the price of the car....!

And so, here it is - seen next to my mum's dull Rover....

Hey have you given it a name? I know that it is kinda a stupid to name a metal object that gets you from point A to point B, but I always found it kinda fun to name our vehicles (I know, I know :crazy: )
I also love the colour, my fav saphire blue! :wub:

Car problems then? You made a lovely job of the bug you really should take it to the VW shows as its lovely and i'm sure you would win some prizes with it and if not you should be proud and show it off! I love the old beetles now as i've been dragged to that many VW shows i've learnt to appreciate them :D
 
Well, a few months down the line, me and my Dub have overcome our differences and I'm enjoying driving it. We're gonna do all the shows this year! Here's some pics of it after a wash...
