hi,just thought id share pics of my gold/blue Balloon ram.(no it isnt a angel x hybrid.thats just a myth.its balloon because of extensive breeding of rams)

Cool It looks like it's been shortened rather than being a baloon version of the regular ram

Nice fish and great pictures I still don't completely buy that the hybrid thing is a myth They had some at my fish store and they didn't look like yours at all...distorted mouth, really really long ventrals and dorsals, I dunno

Nice Rams. I'm a big fan of the "standard" Gold Ram myself. I had four about a year ago but they were short lived. At the time my tank wasn't really suitable, high pH and hardness etc. Now, however my tank should be great, pH 6.6 to 6.8, KH 3.5, GH 7. I'm off to another buy a pair today to replace my Angels (outgrown my tank).

Here's a pic of one from about a year ago. It won Fish of the Month when the contest was still running.
