Well, yesterday one of my jarred females jumped into the boys tank. Since it's cold here, I Half-fill his tank, then put the jars in the tank and keep em all warm. So girly decided bro was looking fine, and jumped into his tank. He's got a clutch of eggs now... :rolleyes:

I don't have a second spawn tank I can move them into, so I'll leave dad in for a few days, then move him in with the big boys in the divided, and cross my fingers and hope.

Dumb, horny fish. :rolleyes:
 
Goodness sakes. I could have sympathy for you but noooooo..... people who can spawn their fish that easily get nothing from me. :grr: Haha jk Jen, congrats. :)
 
lol, we should start a club for horny bettas. my imbellis, julies foerschi and your fish would all get along fine :rofl:
 
Thanks Julie! (And no thanks, grr... :sly: :lol: ) At least I'll have a better chance at some plakats, this looks like a bigger clutch then the first F2, so I'm really hoping for at least one or two plakat males. :hey:

Dad came out today. Lots of babies this time (for me at least!). This is my first batch using silver from the beginning - we'll see how it goes.

Yup, that's the stuff! However, I got it from GNC and when I got home to figure out the PPM, it was not very concentrated. I'll be out to get more in a day or two. :rolleyes:

Actually, she's moved into big girl land, the 20g female tank. And that one definitely has a lid! :lol:

Somewhere around 50 or 60, I think. My biggest spawn yet!
