That's really cool. It's looks nice. I'm sure he likes it because he looks happy. He looks really big, he's cute.

Very Nice!
I think he will have a happy life and he can watch you sleep and wake you when you are snoring to loud, lol :zz :shifty:

:D That is awsome. I love that hes got 2 floors so he can climb up the tree if he likes and you can still see him. He looks very cute  and healthy. You guys did a great job on the cage.

Very nice cage you done a great job. I did notice one thing though:- are you meant to have guards over the heat lamps so that you iguna(sp?) doesn't get to touch them and end up with severe burns?

You might already have them but i can't really see in the photo, so i thought i would just double check :p

Hope you don't mind asking.....lol

Nice reptile too wots his name?

Nice! But does it have UVB lighting? And I hope you're willing to make another cage for him before he gets TOO big--Green Iguanas can get up to six feet long.

thats a nice lil habitant..i used to havva green iguana too..she got really big. So how do u like having it right beside ur bed?????  keepin urself warm or somrehting??????

wow!! thanks for all the replies!!
i actually forgot that i had made this post.. well where do i begin??

well he's about 2.5 feet i would say just by guessing...his name is Waikoko...it sounded "green" to me at the time and i saw it in a calendar on a photo of some park or somthing like that..

THE SMELL...well he poops in his water(wich isn't present in the picture..the container was being cleaned) and that can start to smell, but i think most of the smell comes from his uneaten food because i spray it to make it more palatable for him and it get's it smelling...lol

it's not so bad havin him by the bed, i keep my head at the other end because i can get out of it easier in the morning as the cage is in the way(i got nowhere to put it with my tanks and such..)

i have already been thinking of building another cage exactly like that and turning this one horizontal, then putting the other cage on top of this cage to double the size...since he mostly stays at the top(heat) i figured laying the cages horizontal would have him move around more..
i don't have any gaurds for the lamps, but he usually doesn't get close enough and i have been wondering how could i do it with the chicken wire being right there, that will get heated even with a gaurd...i do have UVB lighting, it's in the canopy thingy on the top

any more questions? comments?

and thanks everyone for all of your imput on my lil guy!!!

***
i have a question.
do you think i would be able to get away with keeping him outside in the summer? it's central florida nad hott durin the day plus he'd get natural UV all the time...any ideas on what i could put on the cage to protect the wood and the iguana? what about winter time? lot's of heat or inside?
