Ancistrus sp. cf. hoplogenys

the tank at the lfs said this was a "silk pleco" the "pleco guy" who sold it to me told me it was not right though and siad it was probably Ancistrus sp. cf. hoplogenys or Ancistrus sp. hoplogenys. he said it would get 10-12 inches which will be fine with me B)

I would say its a male from the amount of bristles.
