I am introducing 2 more female Bettas to my community aquarium and I wanted them to have some more hiding places in the tank. Here is a neat "plant" I found at the LFS:

And here it is after: (I still want to get a nice looking background so you don't just see the wall and wires!)

Looks really good  , that plant has filled a gap nicely  . if it helps, I have mirror tiles as a background on some of my tanks, I think the fish feel more secure and it looks as though you have twice as many! :D

very nice! im not a real big fan of skulls and wut not in a fish tank... but it looks good!

Thanks for your compliments guys!

Aquamick- the mirrored tiles sound like a great idea I hadn't considered before!! Did you get them at your LFS?

fufanu360- Yeah, I'm phasing out the cheesy ornaments. I already removed the no fishing sign. Eventually the skull will go too but for now it is relegated to the back to provide more hiding places for my little betta girls.

Thanks again all!

No, my local hardware store had them in packs of 6. Do you have a Homebase in Canada? Some stores will cut large mirrors to size for a bit more money.

We don't have Homebase but we have Home Hardware and Canadian Tire. One of those stores will probably have the same thing. How thick are the tiles and how you affix it to the tank? Thanks!!
