pretty boas and ball!! not sure about the scorpian, he's cool but can't say i'd let it my house. but love the snakes.

I think they all look awesome... though... I personally would not be able to touch the head of the snakes nor hold them! I have no problems with touching them on the body though. Very cool nonetheless...

Quick question though: Have you ever been stung by the scorpion? If so, what's it like?

nice patterns and colouration on the ball python, we have 1 at work I always take out, i even got the awesome job of holding him while the owner of the store pulled a tick out he came with

Handling the snakes is no biggie. I get to toss around a 15 ft burmese every now and then. She doesnt scare me, so these guys are cake

These juvies are much more likely to bite. I've been bitten by both boas. Fortunately they are very small, non-venomous and dont have fangs. You dont even realize they've punctured the skin when they strike. The teeth are razor sharp. Boas in particular need to be handled very frequently in order to become accustomed to human handling. If ever they are upset about something (like your heatpad failing as in my case) they definately will sieze the opportunity to strike at you when you put your hand in to grab them while they are hissing their brains out at you

I have been stung by that guy in particular, and also a desert hairy. The sting from the emp was much like a bad bee sting. I had some swelling, but it went away in less than a day. The desert hairy scorpion is much more potent venom wise. I was lucky to only get a light sting. Wasnt that painful. The swelling lasted for a few days though. Both times I was stung on the top of my hand. If you are allergic to bee's, you can very possibly die from any scorpion sting. But for most people, the sting shouldnt be that bad. Its really not advisable to handle your scorpions ever (Its never stopped me though :hyper: ).
