Water changes used to be a pain but when converting the garage to a dining room for the 6 foot tank I installed a drain that runs under the concrete floor to a small hole in the corner of the room next to the pump, so I just run a small hose from tank to drain and viola out goes the water. Im soon to sort out a top up system which will make filling alot easier too
The 8 footer is in the sitting room so near the back door so waste water goes outside and feeds the plants

LOL the 6 footer was 4 of us but the 8 footer I decided to get some drainage pipes and use them as rollers to move from one room to the other and worked a treat lifting it from rollers to stand was abit heavy, that took 6 of us.

Fantastic tanks. I just hope you don't plan on moving soon 
I especially like the 8 footer, I think I'm catching MGTS (Mutli-Giant-Tank-Syndrome
).
Any special plans for the tanks (like putting say 3 guppies of each sex in the 8 footer and seeing if they can fill it up in less than 6 months )?

Well the plan was for the 8 footer to house for the time being my arrowane, red snakehead and 2 foot lung fish with my Lerius Pictus but.....
The snakehead has got more evil and started to attack everything even me if I try going near the tank, so there will be a few changes in the next few days
