Kelly open them now

What a cute bunny don't let him open them.

lol! He loved them  I set those up last night to move them out to the front yard today (they light up) but Rabbie thought they were the shiznick last night and he had a blast watching me assemble them and then hopping around them for hours  He was also glad to see the Christmas tree too, I think he remembers last years because he got so excited when he saw this years..."It's back!! My tree is back!! Now I'm in my natural habitat again"
:p

 That's a great pic of him under the tree!

I thought those were your gifts. I was thinking, "those are some odd shaped betta containers she's getting."

Again this year  , he just can't get enough of the tree! I figured I'd best take his annual photo before my tree dies any more...

"Who's out there?! Santa?!"

I've always kept rabbits, they had a big shed to them selves, but they say rabbits make good house pets, as they are the easiest to toilet train, he's cute, lol the tree, hope he dosn't dig a tunnel around it, mine dug an hole from the garden onto the school field, as they were let loose in the garden every day, i woud watch her shovering the muck into a big heap, lol.

Aww... Ours much prefers to eat the tree, we have some cuttings lying around that she's had a few nibbles at  And she's digging us a nice festive hole.... Evidently, she's encouraging us to plant the tree for more food  Love that last picture ^_^

Do bunnies shed much? I can't keep cats as I am allergic...but I never thought of keeping a rabbit. My cousins used to have rabbits but they always stayed in their cages in the garage. For whatever reason I didn't think they could be inside let loose pets. I bet you could keep a bunny in an appartment building (if I ever ge to move out of the house!)

Awesome pics though. Pets and christmas trees are always a cute mix.

I'll not deny it to you, they dooo shed quite a bit a few times a year. My husband is constantly complaining about the rabbit fur everywhere, but it's not *that* bad, no worse than a cat that's for sure. It doesn't really bother me, I keep him brushed. I've never had any pet allergies but the other night I was sort of rough housing with Rabbie alone on the floor, I dug my fingers deep into his fur and scratched at the skin, which he loved, but I went into a mad sneezing fit .
-_-
Needless to say I won't be stirring up his dander like that anymore :look:

OohFeeshy, I'm sure he's eating his fair share back there. Last year there was a huge empty space where he'd been hanging out.

Thanks for the nice comments, he's my lil dollface.

maybe I should bet tested for rabbit dander next time i get some tests done. never hurts to get it done beforehand. Better safe than sorry. Other than mischevious tree nibbleing, are they easy to care for?

I think he's the easiest pet we have  He's happy with pellets and hay, and I make sure to give him fresh veggies *almost* daily (sometimes I forget, but he's forgiving). He was a LOT of work in the beginning, but thats because I have a little one and she constantly wanted to hold him. We made a rule that when Rab's go's back to his cage- he is in his safe zone and we do NOT take him out, we let him come out as he so chooses (which is usually the second I swing open the door  ) and that rule still applies, even though he's far too big for her to pick up anymore.

Litter training is fairly easy, but mentally exhausting. Since they don't have messy waste it's not too infuriating :p And once they're trained (ime) they know it well

Awesome. That's good to know. I wont be looking for any pets in the forseeable future... not until I move out of my parents house. If I get an appartment, then probably only if I can't take the aquarium (which would be very very sad)

Thanks for all the info!

IME apartments don't consider fish "pets" which is great because I have never had to pay a pet deposit or a monthly charge. Once I had a 55gal, a 40gal, and two 29's in a 600 square ft apt. It was awesome.

Carl

I think a 90 gal would be to heavy for most appartments though. I'm have to find a good load bearing wall, or be in the baesment.
